Started boxing when at 6 years old for the Repton Boxing club in Bethnal Green, boxed there until 21. Reached 3 school boy finals, became Junior ABA Champion, and finalist the following year, N.E divisional Senior Champion twice, and London Senior ABA Champion at the age of 18. Gold medalist in a multinational in Norway, Silver medalist in a multinational in Greece for England youth beating the Russian in the semi-final, and received 2 full England vests. Turned pro at the age of 25; only had 3 fights as a pro unbeaten, but found it very hard to train and work long hours has a printer at Westferry Printers, and had to put family first so quit as a fighter. Trained as a pro by Johnny Eames, and for the last 4 years have worked alongside as a coach, which works very well. It's great knowing that I have played an instrumental part in the acheivments of all the Champions in the Ultrachem TKO gym, and get to work with all the up and coming prospects. It's a great job and I am truly blessed to be doing something I love everyday.
